Groundwire

Description
This identity project was created for a design competition hosted by The Art Director's Club of Metropolitan Washington (ADCMW). The challenge was to create a logo and stationary set for a company called Groundwire. Groundwire is based in Seattle, Washington and their mission is to "give organizations the power to engage people in solving today's biggest social and environmental challenges." I began this project by creating a logo that represents what they do. The connection between the "O" in "groundwire" to the green line represents the connection that Groundwire has to the community as well as the environment. The hue of green used, as well as the sans serif type face, give the logo a modern yet playful look. The paper I chose for this project is from the ENVIRONMENT® collection at Neenah Paper. It is called Quest White and it is FSC certified.
